I wanted to know how and why certain dishes were so popular; what brought feelings of contentment and love. To expand the collection and preserve old recipes, I asked family members to send their family’s favorites. I replicated dishes I liked and created others for special occasions. Hints and tips were added to help my daughters and others learn to cook with confidence. The size of the project expanded to five volumes. This volume encompasses the foods often taken to potlucks and family gatherings.
